Kansai 新御堂筋

Shin-Mido-suji is a major arterial road running through Osaka in the Kansai region, linking the city centre with the northern suburbs and the airport corridor. This camera, operated by Kansai HD, looks over the route as traffic moves through the day. The picture is a live video feed, so you see the actual flow of cars, buses and delivery trucks rather than a frozen frame. It is useful in the morning and evening rush, when the road fills and the pace drops, and on rainy days when spray and reduced visibility change how the lanes move. For anyone following Kansai 新御堂筋 live cam feeds or browsing Other cams Japan, this is a straightforward look at one of the region's busiest roads. Check it before setting out, or simply to read the mood of the city's traffic.
