道路状況・札幌市国道36号線と創成川の状況

This camera looks at the junction of National Route 36 and the Sosei River in central Sapporo, run by the engineering firm Giken Kobo. Route 36 is the main road running southeast out of the city toward Chitose and the airport, and the Sosei River runs alongside it through the city centre. The view shows the road surface, traffic and the river channel in one frame, which makes it useful in both winter and summer. In winter, Sapporo's snow and ice make the road condition the main reason to check; in summer and typhoon season, the river level is the thing to watch. Open it before a morning commute or when heavy rain is forecast.
