Port Lorain, Lake Erie Live Cam, Ohio, With Audio

This camera looks out over Port Lorain on Lake Erie, run by the Lorain Port and Finance Authority. It carries sound as well as pictures, so you get the wind on the docks, gulls and the low note of an engine before a boat comes into frame. The view covers the harbour and the river mouth where the Black River meets the lake, which is the working part of the port: charter boats, freighters and the occasional Coast Guard cutter. Open it in the morning to see what the lake is doing before a fishing trip, or on a rough day when the wind is out of the north and the piers take spray.
