Park Shore Waikiki Hotel Live Cam, Waikiki Beach, Honolulu

This camera is mounted at the Park Shore Waikiki Hotel on the edge of Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, looking out over the sand and water of the beach itself. It is a live feed running through Ozolio, so the picture is continuous rather than a still. Waikiki faces south, which means the light is best early: sunrise catches the water and the surfers already out on the breaks. Later in the day the same view shows the afternoon crowd on the sand and the catamarans working along the beach. Because it is a hotel-mounted cam, the angle is elevated, which gives a clean read on swell size and how far the water has pushed up the beach. Worth opening before a swim, a surf check or a walk down Kalakaua.
