Elephant Pan (Hyena Pan) - Botswana, Live Wildlife Camera

This Africam camera watches a waterhole in northern Botswana known as Elephant Pan, or Hyena Pan, in the wildlife region near the Okavango Delta. It is a live wildlife camera, so the picture runs continuously and you see animals as they arrive rather than a still that updates every few minutes. Elephants come down to drink and bathe, sometimes in herds, and hyenas and other predators pass through at night, which is when the pan is often busiest. The dry season, roughly May to October, brings the most traffic because surface water is scarce and animals depend on pans like this one. Tune in at dawn or after dark, when the heat has eased and the waterhole fills up.
