North Macedonia's public camera coverage is modest but focused. The bulk of it sits on the two big lakes in the southwest, Ohrid and Prespa, where guesthouses, beach bars and municipal tourism offices run cameras pointed at the water. In summer these are swimming and boat-watching cameras; in winter they mostly show weather moving across the basin. The second cluster follows the Vardar and its tributaries. River and weather stations operated by water-management and meteorological bodies provide still images and gauge readings, used locally for flood watch after heavy rain in spring and autumn. Road coverage is thinner. The national road agency maintains some cameras on the main corridors toward Greece and Serbia, and on the mountain passes that see snow, but you should not expect the dense point-to-point coverage found in Western Europe. A handful of town cameras cover Skopje squares and the old bazaar, plus a few ski-area views on Shar Planina and around Mavrovo. Ports are not a factor; the country is landlocked. What you get, then, is a small, seasonal grid: lakes first, rivers second, roads and towns filling in the rest. If you want to watch North Macedonia cams online, start with Ohrid and the Vardar valley.
