LiveBelgium's camera coverage is shaped by two things: a dense motorway network and a short but busy coastline. The traffic cameras are the backbone. The Flemish and Walloon road agencies, along with the national police, run cameras at junctions, tunnels and border crossings, and they are used daily by commuters checking the morning rush on the Brussels ring or the E40 towards Liège. These feeds are practical, low-resolution and everywhere. You will also find cameras at ports and waterways, though fewer than in the Netherlands. The coast is the second cluster. From Knokke-Heist down to De Panne, beach cameras watch the North Sea for surfers, kite flyers and the occasional storm surge. Ostend and Zeebrugge add harbour and ferry views. City cameras are sparse; Brussels has a few square and station views, but most Belgian cams point at asphalt or water rather than architecture. In winter, the Ardennes adds a small set of road cameras for snow and ice on the E25 and N4. If you want to watch Belgium cams online, expect functional angles: a motorway at dawn, a pier in the rain, a lock gate opening. That is the local use, and it is what the grid shows.
